Our home is located on Leopardi 54 street, in the centre of Rome, between Esquilino district and Monti district, the ancient “suburra romana”. It is only a 5-minute walk from the Colosseum, the Colle Oppio and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and also a 10 minute walk from the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano and within walking distance of many other important archaeological and artistic sites in Rome among which the Magical door in piazza Vittorio, San Pietro in Vincoli and the “Fori imperiali”. It is only a 20-minute walk, or 3 metro stops, from the Trevi Fountain and the Tridente (Babuino, Corso, Ripetta) with the Roman shopping streets.
There is free parking available on the public street within the white lines. During daylight hours there is a charge for parking within the blue lines. Less than 100 meters away there are two private garages. The road is outside the restricted traffic area and therefore, to access it, no permit is required.
