We had a fantastic stay of 11 days in Michaela’s and Vittorio’s apartment (two adults with children). They were very welcoming and responsive hosts, answering our questions quickly and providing great advice and recommendations for restaurants, the best bakery in Rome or day trips. As they live in the same house, we met Vittorio a few times which was always very nice. The apartment itself absolutely deserves the very positive reviews and we even found it better than in the description. We had enough space with our children, the beds are very comfortable and having a dishwasher and a washing machine are great features for longer stays while everything was very clean. The kitchen is small and has everything you need (toaster, nespresso machine, french press, microwave, etc.) if you don’t cook excessive meals, but eating outside is of course very much recommended. We can wholeheartedly recommend the surrounding area which is at the same time in walking distance to touristic highlights such as the Colosseum and the Forum Romanum, but also seems to be a normal neighbourhood where real Romans live. As a result, you can enjoy a great infrastructure of supermarkets, restaurants, ice cream parlors (try Fassi, a real ice cream palace very close to the apartment), bars and bakeries, as well as parks and a metro station nearby. We can fully recommend to book this apartment and we would love to come back for our next trip to Rome.
